Igatahes on ebak\u00fcdoonia tarbimist v\u00e4\u00e4rt, kuna ta on ju meie p\u00f5hjamaa sidrun ja v\u00e4ga suure C-vitamiini sisaldusega (eriti koortes, seega koorida ei tasuks). <b><u>Viljad valmivad sept-okt, t\u00e4pselt siis kui keha vajab k\u00f5ige rohkem turgutust, et saada hakkama k\u00fclmade s\u00fcgistuulte ja niiskusega.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Suhkrut tuleks panna umbes-t\u00e4pselt \u00fcks-\u00fchele ebak\u00fcdoonia viljaga, kes tahab teha meega, v\u00f5ib ka teha. Panen kohe nad purki ja lisan suhkru. Siis kaas peale ja raputan tugevasti, et suhkur igalepoole p\u00e4\u00e4seks ja ebak\u00fcdoonia hakkaks oma mahla v\u00e4lja andma. Purgi ma j\u00e4tan toatemperatuurile niikauaks kuni kogu suhkur on sulanud, vahepeal temast m\u00f6\u00f6da minnes ma raputan j\u00e4lle purki ja j\u00e4tan j\u00e4lle seisma.
